▹▹ Nikola’s Act may seem pretty typical to the circus, but it is anything but boring. He starts out with simple juggling, progressively adding more and more balls while he balances on different objects, the first being a ball, then a teeter totter, and finally on a ladder balanced on a teeter totter. He will do interesting tricks from time to time to show off, taking requests from time to time to keep things interesting. When not in his act he will entertain people in lines by juggling random objects.

▹▹ Nikola part times as a clown. Since he already knew how to juggle and balance on objects, it was pretty easy progression to doing that to clown. He tends to do this act more for the kids, but his show is a delight for all ages.
▸WISH I wish to relive the glory days of my youth."
▹▹Being put into a 13 year old body wasn’t the grand picture of his ‘glory days’ that Nikola had in his mind. But a simple body change was the least of his problems. Nikola is rapidly losing his memories of his life before the circus. He is now very literally “reliving” his glory years starting from the ground up. He cannot leave the circus for there is nothing there to go back to. The life he once had no matter what it was like or how good/bad it really was no longer exists. He would have nothing no name, no history, no family, and no memories. Leaving the circus makes him lose his memories and sense of self at a much more rapid rate. He loses even the most basic of information of self identity and skills ( name ,species, gender,skills, etc...). While inside the circus he retains his sense of self even if his memories of his past are still leaving him.

Personality | Nikola was very much a bratty child even before his age change, not that the age change is a justifiable excuse for his personality. He was selfish and egotystical and thought that the world owed him a favor. He was bitter and angry that his life wasnt the way he wanted. He was and is overall egotistical know it all with a sharp catty tongue. Where the blade was not as sharp as his mouth. Scarcastic and childish He is the type of person who doesn’t take things that are meant to be serious too seriously at all.
Things havent much changed now that he is a child. Though hormones dont help. He still has a vey egocentric mindset, though it is more due to him being 13 and less due to his bitterness of the world now. He has humbled a little bit, a child cant stand the same sort of ground of a Adult. Nikola has the emotional tolerance of a 13 year old and tends to feel all his emotions at high extreemes. When he is mad, he is very mad. When he is happy he is very happy. His emotions fluxuatle quickly, and he tends to react first, before thinking things through. He is stubborn to the point of making reckless decisions, even when not in his best interest. When he makes up his mind, he will stick with his decision until the end, feeling it is the more respectable thing to do. Being the childish person he is, he is very prideful. Just one scratch to his pride and he makes you his next target, whether you did it intentionally or not. He can, and will own up to his actions, when he finds himself to be in the wrong, though it will take him a while to get over his shame and guilt. Utimatetly though, his feelings of wanting to be respected will win out and he will own up to his mistakes. He'd rather deal with the shame of being wrong for a momment that deal with being looked down on by others.
Dispite this he's generally a well meaning kid. He can be nice, and often is to those who treat him as a equal, and not as a child. He does genuienly enjoy interacting with others. When it comes to the other circus members, he has a rather large complex about being underestimated, and deemed as lesser than his peers. Dispie logically knowing comparing a child to a full grown adult is silly. This was present in his privious life, but it is much more common now that he is in a childs body. He makes effort with people to look older and talk older, treating people with at least some courtesy when they show him some. He seeks affirmation from adults to know when he is on the right track, even though he claims to want to do things on his own. He works really hard when he needs to, wanting to proove himself just as capable as any other.
Because of his wish Nikola fears he will lose memories, so he grasps at making valuble connections with others. He wants to be thought of and remembered fondly, even if he himself cannot remember it. Unfortunatley Also due to his wish, he mixes up a lot of what he remembers from recent events and what he remembers from a long time ago. It scares him to know that he is losing memories, because things dont line up and he has no control over it. He has taken to writing down things in a journal, to help combat his memory loss but it takes a heavy toll on his mind.

History Nikola was a 49 year old gogoat who had been working at a dead in factory job with no real goals or plans. The better jobs were for the lucky or the ones that were born into wealth. Using hard work to obtain wealth was a fools dream and Nikola realized it much too late. Now, he spent all his time focusing on instant gratification, and very little on that of the future. Still, Nikola didn’t have a bad job; it just wasn’t very good either. He was a dime a dozen just like the factories that had been rising up in the cities. There will always be a need for a factory and a factory worker. He was just fortunate to have experience and age on his side to be a little wealthier than the bare minimum. He lived day to day, being reckless with his wages and drowning his problems with liquor and women, seeing as both could be bought with money. They helped him forget that his life was mundane and utterly not going anywhere. Given his personality, he didn’t have many friends and no significant relationships in his life. He was a snarky jerk with too much pride and paid too little attention to others needs. His siblings were adults and had all moved on with their lives and had families of their own. His parents were getting on in their years, but he hadn’t heard from any of them in quite some time. Not that he had put any effort into trying to contact them. They wouldn't want to hear about his life, and lying took to much effort. It was easier just to stop communication all together. It all just seemed so pointless now. He longed for a time to redo his teen years, to try again and maybe end up in a better situation than what he was in. He wanted to have a better job, have money, a family- something that shows that his life wasn’t wasted. He was going through a midlife crisis if you will, envious of the youth that belonged to others and that he had wasted.
Nikola dated a few women, if you could really call what they were doing ‘dating’, but he particularly took interest in a younger female. It was a mutually beneficial relationship, in a way. He was able to date a fairly attractive younger lady and convince himself that things weren’t going to bad in his life, while she was given money and expensive gifts. It was all an act of sorts. Nikola, wanting to see if he could make this fake relationship a reality invited the younger lady to the circus, in hopes to woo her. He had the day planned out. Using a good amount of the little money he had he took her out to a nice lunch and bought tickets to the circus. He would spend the day doing fun, but romantic things and ask at the end of it all ask her if she felt the same way. However it was at the circus itself where things started to go downhill. The more interest Nikola showed in the lady the more she changed the subject and pushed off to go do a new activity. His monthly wages were disappearing fast and he was getting nowhere. Rapidly drinking alcohol from a flask helped him gather his courage. When he had gathered up the nerve to just go out and ask her how she felt about him, she laughed. “It’s only business between us, and it’s better to keep things that way.” “ Why complicate it with something silly like feelings?” “Besides you’re way too old for me.” After her response she left to ‘freshen up’ and never returned.
Nikola went to look for the girl, but she had been gone for quite some time by the time he realized something was wrong. He gave up looking, there were too many people, and he had already made a fool of himself once today. He stopped by a stand near carousel and pulled out a cigarette, to calm his nerves. It was at that tent that he met a flashy man He was charming and well-spoken, and seemed like the type of person that could make you sell away your life savings just by a few words. This was the type of guy that girl was looking for; someone handsome with money- though probably not the circus part. “I bet your lucky with women, you got that sort of charming air about you, that make girls just fall in love.” Nikola struck a conversation with the man. It was filled with one sided complaints on his end and small commentary on Mr. Dark’s. Nikola’s desire to be younger came out of a complaint. He wished to be younger; to start over again. Mr. Dark explained that it wasn’t an impossible idea, and a simple ride on his carousel would help grant his wish. It was a laugh. How absurd to think that a children’s ride would grant him youth. Still, riding that carousel would be worth the embarrassment just to laugh and tell that Flashy man’s that his pitch for his carousel needs to be worked on.
He must have drunk a lot more than he thought because when he got off the carousel everything was bigger, much bigger. He inspected the damage on his body and realized that he was the one that had shrunk. “ Good one ol’ spark you drunk yourself into hysteria.” He mumbled to himself. He thought going home seemed like the best option, he could sleep all this off and then talk to that flashy guy about his pitch. He made it home, through a little difficulty, having to walk the whole way. He woke up to find that his body was still that of a much younger boy and everything in his house felt a little off. He recognized most of the objects as his. But he couldn’t remember how he got them. The pictures were the oddest part, he didn’t recognize anyone in any of the photographs he had around the house. He couldn’t go into his job, not in this state. Freaking out, he ran back to the circus. Things started to make more sense when he got there. When he realized there wasn’t a way to return himself to the way he was he asked Mr. Dark for a job. A child working in the circus was better than working in the factory, he figured.
He made his wish angry, confused, and mildly intoxicated, scoffing at the idea that it would be granted by a carousel ride. Still that Mr. Dark fellow delivered a good pitch for riding the carousel. If only Nikola could remember what it was…
Extra | Nikola is particularly strong for someone so tiny; given the fact that he is a ‘mount pokemon’ he is able to carry heavy items and even people.
